Come and Celebrate Michael Prowicz's 38th Birthday
with a Chicago Wolves hockey game

Friday Jan 17, 2003 645pm

see the incriminating party photos

Grab the old ball and chain and head out with us to celebrate Michael's birthday (actual birthdate January 15, 1965) on Friday night, January 17, at 645pm. Watch a game, ride into the city without having to worry about traffic and parking, hang at great laid-back neighborhood bar and toast bein' out with friends on a Friday night !! No gifts are neccessary or expected - your presence will be gift enough ;-)

Meeting Place, Time and Transportation

Meet our party transport (van, bus, limo??) at the Blue Line El - Rosemont station for a ride to the game. Park your car in the Rosemont station lot and leave $2.00 in coins for a parking fee. Transportation will be stocked with a case of Michael's favorite beer and will be leaving the station between 645pm and 700pm. The ride from the meeting spot to the game location is only about 20 minutes or less.

The meeting spot has been specifically arranged for ease of after-game party plans. Please plan to take advantage of our transportation; you will avoid parking and traffic and we will have more time to spend with you!

The Game

Chicago Wolves vs. San Antonio starts at 730pm at the AllState Arena.

Tickets and Prices

Tickets for decent seats are $18/each or $16/each paid in advance. Laura will purchase a block of tickets in advance for each RSVP made by January 14, 2002.

We will pay for transportation and first round of drinks after the game at the bar if you will pay for your own tickets. :-)

RSVP Laura by Jan 14 for advance tickets at $16.00 email: phone: (leave voice mail), or you can purchase your own tickets at the door for $18.00. Email is always preferred.

After Game Festivities

After the game, our transportation will be driving downtown to drop off any and all partygoers at:

  • Cody's Public House 1658 W. Barry (3100N, 1700W), Chicago(773-528-4050), Laura's old neighborhood bar in the city with a pool table (and where Michael and Laura met - awww!)
  • or Ten Cat Tavern 3931 N. Ashland (4000N, 1600W), Chicago (773-935-5377), another laid-back neighborhood bar with two vintage pool tables

Which one will depend on Michael's mood ;-)

Transportation Home or to Your Car

Suburban partygoers can ride the Blue Line El back to their cars parked at the Blue Line Rosemont Station. The Blue Line El can be caught at Belmont Ave and Kimball Ave.
